[MWC 2019] Lenovo announces new Chrome OS and Windows enterprise laptops

While many of us go after the sleek and shiny looking laptops, there is a huge segment of the market that needs to withstand more wear and tear. At MWC, Lenovo has also announced two new enterprise laptops: the Lenovo 14w with Windows 10 Pro and the 14e Chromebook running Chrome OS.

Both the Lenovo 14w and Lenovo 14e are powered by AMD and are perfect for retail, hospitality, travel, and manufacturing locations. Cost-effective, they are designed to handle daily wear and tear whether on the factory floor or the shop. Both laptops feature narrow bezels, a new design from the ground up, and an aluminum design. Both also meet Lenovo’s education durability requirements, also making them great choices for the classroom.

Some of the key features of the Lenovo 14w with Windows 10 Pro include:

  • Built-in security, management and productivity features with Windows 10 Pro
  • AMD A6-9220c performance
  • Thin and light, 17.7mm and 3.39 pounds, with an Aluminum top cover
  • 14-inch FHD with IPS touch display
  • Spill proof and backlit keyboard
  • 57 Whr battery built to last a full day
  • Access to Microsoft 365 services for firstline workers

Some of the key features of the Lenovo 14e Chromebook Enterprise include:

  • AMD A4-9120c performance
  • Thin and light, 17.7mm and 3.27 pounds, with an Aluminum top cover
  • 14-inch FHD with IPS touch display
  • Spill proof and backlit keyboard
  • 57 Whr battery built to last a full day
  • Google Admin console and G Suite

The Lenovo 14w and 14e will be available in March. The 14w Enterprise will be available for US$299 while the 14e Chromebook Enterprise will be available for US$279.
